Men’s Basketball: Cajuns vs UT Arlington (Hatfield/Paschal Reunion) Selected For ESPN Broadcast

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Sun Belt Conference announced Thursday that the upcoming men’s basketball game between Louisiana and UT Arlington on Saturday, February 7 has been selected as the first of two wild-card games to be carried by ESPN or ESPN2.

The selection of the game means the men’s half of the day’s scheduled doubleheader will now begin at 1:00 p.m. rather than the originally scheduled 7:15 p.m. start time. The Ragin’ Cajun women will follow with their game against UTA at 3:15 p.m.

The game will be the fourth TV game of the season for the Cajuns, having been on ESPN3 for its Nov. 17 game at Tulsa and will be on ESPN’s online platform on Jan. 24 at Georgia State. The Cajuns were also aired on FSN South in its Nov. 21 game at Auburn.

A final decision on the airing network, in addition to broadcast talent for the game will come at a later date.

1:00 pm – Ragin’ Cajuns vs. UTA (ESPN Telecast) – Half time Recognition on Court
