UG Major was Vocal Music and Speech. I was a Band Majorette in 1945-46. I married Gordon B. Anderson (’56) in 1953. (He died in 1990) We have six terrific grown children. I had many award-winning choirs/choral groups during my teaching/conducting years in Las Cruces (1971-87). I have been ballroom dancing, traveling, and cruising since I retired. I was awared the first place metal for ballroom dancing at the New Mexico competition.
I suppose I’ve “tooted my horn” enough. I am very thankful for my good life and remember fondly the wonderful days at S. L. I. Even though I’ve attended the University of Colorado and New Mexico State, my education at S. L. I. was the best! Thanks, Trudie Anderson
