1909 was the first year SLII competed in collegiate football. On December 11, 1909 SLII played Louisiana State Normal. (Now known as Northwestern State University).
Varsity Football Team member 1908-11, served as captain in 1911. Editor-in-chief, Vermilion, 1911.
