Home Phone: -- Ross’ Fond Memories for Coach Raymond Blanco’s Tribute were submitted on March 31, 2021 and posted by Ed Dugas. Tribute to Coach Blanco- Ross Brubacher He is a man devoted to the benefit of others and lives his life accordingly. We first met in 1966 when he was recruiting me to play football for USL. He forgave me (I think) when I chose Texas A&M and our relationship grew and deepened over the next 55 years. We have vacationed together. We have fished everywhere together, though Raymond always claimed more of the catch because he had more kids to feed. We have been Godparents to one another’s children and grieved together when we each lost a child within a year… and then again with the death of Kathleen. There have been many coaches, but never a finer one than Raymond. Ross Brubacher, Lifelong Friend
