Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach during 2002-2005 on the Hall staff.

Rosalynn Landes enters her third season as an assistant coach for the Ragin’ Cajuns women’s basketball program.
Landes supervises the Cajuns’ academic progress, handles on-the-floor coaching duties of the guards, assists in scheduling and is in charge of film exchange.

Landes returned to coaching last season for the first time since 1998, when she was the head coach at St. Joseph’s Academy in Baton Rouge.

While at SJA, her teams were district champions in 1996, 1997 and 1998, making the state playoffs all three years as well. For her efforts, she was named the District Coach of the Year during that same time span and led them to a 76-41 overall record and a 31-6 district record during her tenure.

Landes’ last venture into women’s college basketball came 11 seasons prior to arrival at Louisiana-Lafayette, at the University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff, where she served as the Golden Lions’ head coach from 1984-91. The Lions qualified for the NAIA District 17 Tournament six of her seven years and she coached two NAIA All-Americans. Her 1986 recruiting class was ranked No. 1 in the state of Arkansas by the Arkansas Democrat.

Before her stint at UAPB, Landes served on the staff of one of women’s college basketball’s legendary head coaches, Sue Gunter of Louisiana State University. Landes served as a volunteer graduate assistant coach at LSU from 1983-84.

Landes began her coaching career as a graduate assistant coach at her alma mater, Southern Arkansas University.

Landes received her bachelor’s of science degree in kinesiology in 1976 and her master’s of science degree in kinesiology in 1978.
