Obituary of Paul Edward Waters

Paul Edward Waters was a born on 8/30/42 to Frank & Ollie V. Waters in Alabama. He was a lifelong lover of nature, outdoors & sports. His athletic talents won him a football scholarship to play football at ULL (Southwestern), but he remained a faithful fan of the Crimson Tide even after he moved to La.

He is survived by his devoted wife Carol Ann Bourgeois Waters, Children; Holly Waters, Dana Dairies (David) & Brad Waters (Charmin); Stepchildren Caroline Ransome & Brett Ransome (Dina); Grandchildren: Jennifer Waters, Caroline Stewart (Robert), Cliff Le Blanc (Morgan), Nicholette Quavers (Ron), Zane Waters & Evan Dayries; Great-grandchildren; Robby Stewart, Hayden, Thomas & Layne Leblanc; & sister Ethyl Smith.

He was preceded in death by his parents & siblings, George Franklin Jr., Peggy & MelRoy Waters, Dorothy Lundgren, Juanita Moran & Mary Searcy.

Religious Services to be conducted by the Rev. Cleo Milano at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church on Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at 10:00 with visitation from 8:00-10:00 a.m. in the Church. The Family would like to extend our love & thanks to Father Cleo Milano, Deacon Richard Grant, Mrs. Theresa Foster & the Entire Family in Christ at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church for their overwhelming love & support. Paul’s infectious giggle, beautiful blue eyes, sense of devilment & love of family will be missed by all.
