Home Phone: -- I graduated from USL with a degree in Speech Pathology. I worked as an SLP in Iberia Parish for 21 years, retiring in May of ’98. I spent the next seven years not working full time. I did some subbing and later had a booth in an antiques mall for three years. In April of 2005, I returned to work full time at UL Lafayette’s Continuing Education department as the coordinator for the Road Scholar program (lifelong learning/travel/educationa), formerly called Elderhostel. Cultural tourism, but with a strong educational element. I’ve been married for 37 years to Mike Daigle (UL Laffy alum). We have a son, Drew Daigle, who also graduated from UL Lafayette. Our first born son, Matthew, died at the age of 16. Matthew suffered brain damage when he was six months old, and as a result, was profoundly mentally and physically handicapped. He was our Earth Angel and will be forever in our hearts.
