Home Phone: -- Neal O’Brien, Football 1970-73, Obituary – Funeral Services Scheduled for Saturday in Kaplan Neal Byron O’Brien Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 22, 2010 at a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Chapel honoring the life of Neal Byron O’Brien, 58, who died Sunday, May 16, 2010 at Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Brad Guillory officiating the services. He is survived by two daughters, Kimberly O’Brien and Allyson O’Brien, both of Kaplan; one granddaughter, Anna O’Brien of Kaplan; five brothers, Raymond O’Brien and his wife, Tina of Fort Worth, Texas, Steve O’Brien and his wife, Fannie of Lafayette, Elliott O’Brien and his wife, Kathy of Baton Rouge; Danny O’Brien and his wife, Caroline of Greenville, Texas and Richard O’Brien and his wife, Beverly of Fort Worth, Texas; three sisters, Carol and her husband, Cliff Broussard of Abbeville, Lydia and her husband, Danny Bernard of Kaplan and Lizzy and her husband, Johnny Living of Kaplan; and one brother-in-law, Henry Shelvin of Abbeville. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Marie Mouton O’Brien; his parents, Rayward and Berneda O’Brien; one sister, Brenda Shelvin; one grandson, Aindan Neal O’Brien; and his father-in-law, James Mouton.
