Home Phone: 225-975-0797 Athletically-speaking, after graduation I took up long-distance running and have been running since. So far I have run 26 full marathons, including the Boston Marathon. I’ve run hundreds of races at varying distances, from 5K to 10K to 10-milers to 1/2 marathons to full marathons. I have 2 children, Misty and Hayden, who are living in Lafayette. My daughter, a UL-L graduate,is a film maker and my son is a professional musician. He is also a student at UL-L. Misty is also an adjunct professor at UL-L, has been for a couple of years now. I am (re)married to Ashton Eastin from Baton Rouge, who is a steel fabricator by trade. He is also a long-distance runner. Great to have a running partner and a supporter of my running. My husband and I are big Ragin’ Cajun fans, and attend as many softball, baseball, and football games that we can. He’s been an LSU Tiger fan for all his life, but now……..he’s a Ragin’ Cajun! Professionally speaking, I retired from service with the State of Louisiana Dept of Transportation and now work for my brother’s fabrication company.
