Home Phone: -- Obituary: Posted on AN Sept. 19, 2012 Mary Eugenia Nichols Wilson – Red Jacket Morning News of Northwest Arkansas (Springdale, AR) – Wednesday, November 28, 2007 Mary ‘ Jeanne ‘ Wilson McCRORY — Mary Eugenia ” Jeanne ” Nichols Wilson, 84, died Nov. 27, 2007. She was born Sept. 16, 1923, in Austin, Texas, to Fred P. and Beatrice Nichols. She was a graduate of both Ennis, Texas, High School and Southwestern College (now Lafayette) in Louisiana. She was a member of McCrory First United Methodist Church. She was a former employee of the Department of Human Services in Augusta, where she worked for 20 years before retiring. She was an accomplished seamstress and knitted sweaters as well. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Burl Wilson. Survivors include Robert B. Wilson Jr. and wife Donna of Fayetteville, Fred E. Wilson and wife Vicki of McCrory; three grandchildren, Danae Wilson of Conway, Robert B. Wilson III and wife Misty of Springdale, Julie Wagley and husband Dustin of Lindale, Texas; five great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Thompson-Wilson Funeral Home in McCrory. Burial will be in Fakes Cemetery. Pallbearers were Bill Thompson, Vic Pullen, Jim Johnson, Robert B. Wilson III, Robert Henry Wilson and Robert Wiggins.
