UG Major was Social Welfare and earned Certificate of Social Work @LSU in 1947-48. I have participated in some 5 K and 10 K races. My oldest son, Dr. Glen Mire, is one of the team doctors for UL football. We have five great children, four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
