Former Football Coach: Former Cajuns coach Hudspeth has new job

Former UL coach Mark Hudspeth reportedly has landed another head coaching job.

Hudspeth will take over at Austin Peay — an FCS program located in Clarksville, Tennessee” multiple media outlets reported Tuesday.

Hudspeth confirmed the hiring later Tuesday.

Fired by UL last December after a seven-year run in charge of the Ragin’ Cajuns, Hudspeth spent this season as Mississippi State’s associate head coach and tight ends.

He also was Mississippi State receivers coach for two years before taking over at UL in 2011.
