Tribute to Coach Raymond Blanco Kenny Greig (USL 1967, BA Psychology; USL 1969, Masters School Psychology) Kenny was coached by Blanco at Catholic High, New Iberia and USL. Life lessons from school come in many forms; Coach was certainly one of them. He is the only person I have ever seen use the altar veil during communion to clean his glasses. Coach is a kinetic-tactile learner, always in motion; this is easily discernible by observing his disheveled dress. To some extent, he was like a father in all his grace and faults. Totally unique and always the force behind the force. These aspects we all know to be true in Raymond Blanco. P.S. Coach is the luckiest Bourre’ player the world has ever seen. Based on 20 years of monthly games.
