I’m new to Louisiana and am so excited to join the UL family and live in such a special community. I look forward to teaming with an outstanding group of coaches, staff and supporters in enhancing opportunities for our student athletes. So much has already been accomplished. It’s going to be a great ride for everyone involved with the Raginâ€™ Cajuns.
I’ve had a fun career and was fortunate enough to be involved with some exciting athletic programs on the rise.
Georgia Southern – started a football program from scratch and won the Div IAA national championship in three years.
Oregon – was on board during the ’80’s and early ’90’s seeing its football team begin its rise to national prominence by earning their first bowl birth in 25 years; they have yet to slow down.
Washington – experienced participating in a Rose Bowl, two sweet 16 finishes in Men’s basketball and being directly involved in a $90 Million facility upgrade.
Colorado State University – Opened the Denver fundraising office and was involved in creating a donor “points system” which is proving to be a valuable tool in allocating donor seating and parking in a fair and equitable manner.
As fun as all of this has been, I am even more excited about what is going to occur here at UL.
Hang on, it is going to be a fun ride!
I am the proud father of two; Alex, my 18 year old son who is a freshman at Cal Poly and my 13 year old daughter Sydney.
