After graduating in 1996, I floundered around a bit not knowing what to do, but like most of us I joined the ranks of the “working stiffs”. In 2002 I got married and a year later we had a beautiful little boy. He’s already so tall! We’re predicting him to reach 6’4″. I dream of the day when he picks up a basketball, shoots and scores, and falls in love with the game like I did. Hopefully, he’ll play for the Cajun’s one day. I’d be so proud.
Playing for USL was such a great honor and a privilege and I find myself reminiscing about those days all the time. (Unfortunately my knees remind me of those days far more often than I’d like.)
Most of all I think of my friends whom I’ve had little contact with since graduation. Thanks UL for creating this website. Hopefully, through this I’ll be seeing them again soon.
