Former Football: Jesse Moore laid to rest

Jesse Moore, former USL football player and member of the 1993 Big West Championship Team was laid to rest Saturday after a stirring service before an absolutely packed funeral Chapel. The connection of Jesse with that huge assembly of friends and well-wishers was quite obvious.

Jesse is gone but will likely never be forgotten — a “forever Ragin’ Cajun” and an outstanding high school and college football official as well. Rest in peace friend, colleague, and brother. Gone much too soon. Posted by Don Blair (donuslblair@live.com)
