Home Phone: 337-262-3806 UL Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach, 2004-05 on the Lee staff. Jason Kennemer returns to his alma mater as a member of Robert Lee’s coaching staff. He brings four years of coaching experience at the junior college level and returns to the bench after spending the past two years in the corporate business world. Kennemer, a 1998 graduate of Louisiana-Lafayette who spent the 1996-97 and 1997-98 seasons as the Ragin� Cajuns manager, begins his first season as an assistant coach with the Ragin� Cajuns men�s basketball program. Kennemer spent two seasons with the Cajuns serving under the staffs of Marty Fletcher and Jessie Evans. He was the manager when Robert Lee was hired as an assistant coach under Fletcher during the 1996-97 season. After finishing his degree requirements in May 1998, Kennemer began his coaching career at Pratt Community College in Pratt, Kan., working as an assistant coach. He also served as the head tennis coach. During his tenure at Pratt CC (1998-99 and 1999-2000 seasons), Kennemer handled scheduling, recruiting, budgeting and fundraising for the Beavers. He also organized team practice and team travel. Kennemer spent two seasons with Pratt CC before moving to NCAA Division II (now NAIA) member Texas Wesleyan University for the 2000-01 season. While at TWU, he served as the Rams� recruiting coordinator and planned team travel. The following season, Kennemer�s travels took him to Kilgore, Texas, as an assistant coach at Kilgore College. Kennemer received his bachelor�s degree in general studies from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 1998. In 2003, Kennemer was inducted into the Avinger High School (Texas) Hall of Honor. He was a four-year letterman in basketball and baseball, while also lettering three years in tennis. He was awarded the Baseball Dedication Award, was Who�s Who in Sports, and was voted the Most Likely to Succeed.
