Our friendship continued over the years and we worked on several projects together. GRAND COTEAU – Funeral services for Jeanette Ann Landry Sibille 69, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 10, 2008, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Charles Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the St. Charles Cemetery in Grand Coteau. The Revs’ Joe Breaux, Wayne Duet, Ted Broussard, Mike Champagne, Jermone Frey, Joseph Stemmons, James Lipiri, Arthur Warren, Ambrose Akalawu and Joseph Brennen will celebrate the Mass. Music will be provided by Soloist Gina Arnaud and accompanied by Julee Bundy Mrs. Jeanette was born in Grand Coteau and lived there for many years; she was a resident of Lafayette for a long time and then settled with her husband Irwin in Prairie Ronde. She passed from life on Friday, Nov. 7, 2008, in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Lafayette, La. Mrs. Sibille was a homemaker and also the owner of S&S Wholesale Florist in Lafayette, she served as a spiritual counselor for Hospice and was a leader of the Cursillo in Prairie Ronde, La. She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother and a wonderful friend to all that knew her. She is going to be sadly missed. She is survived by husband; Irwin Sibille, Prairie Ronde; sons, Dr. Scott Sibille and wife Paulette of Sunset, La, Tony Sibille of Fouchon, La, Dr. Billy Sibille DPT and wife Suzanne of St. Augustine, FL.; daughters, Lisa Dooley and husband Patrick of New Iberia, Wendy Saracino and husband Jason of Sunset, La.; sister, Judy Riley and husband Pat of Monroe, La.; 15 grandchildren. Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, John and Hilda Marie Stelly Landry and foster son, Bill “Black Jack” Landry. Pallbearers will be J. Scott Sibille, Tony Sibille, Billy Sibille, Patrick Dooley, Jason Saracino, Chris Dooley, Nick Dooley, Cody Sibille. Visiting hours will be observed Sunday, Nov. 9, 2008, from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home of Grand Coteau. Monday, visitation will continue in the funeral home from 8 a.m. until the time of services. Sibille Funeral Home A rosary service will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday evening in the funeral home.
