Gladys (Mom, Maw Maw, MG) was always thinking and putting other people’s needs before her own. Doing for others was her main concern and activity, whether it was babysitting her grandkids, running errands for others or driving others around who had no means of transportation. She was devoted to her husband, Marc, for 50 years in marriage, to her eight children, fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Mom was truly our special saint on this earth. She had a deep and special devotion to our heavenly mother, Mary. She made a promise to Mary in thanksgiving of her youngest son, Gerald, being healed as an infant of a medical condition. She promised to dress Gerald only in blue clothing until the age of 5 in honor and gratitude of our Blessed Mother Mary and never once strayed from that promise. Gladys worked extremely hard with her husband, Marc, along with his brother, Alcide and wife, Pearl Judice in building and running Judice Inn from its inception in 1947. She was a volunteer at Our Lady of Fatima School while her children attended. She was also alongside her husband Marc as one of the Founders of Our Lady of Fatima Church. She was an avid Fatima Warrior fan, as well as a Ragin Cajun fan attending softball, football, baseball and basketball games up until just recently. She loved sports and cheered the players on with her own special cheering sound effects. She will be truly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She set a wonderful example for all who knew her in her extremely unselfish ways. A devoted Catholic and parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima Church, she was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Ladies’ Altar Society, Our Lady of Fatima School Helper, Co-Owner of Judice Inn Restaurant, avid UL Sports fan and supporter, and cooked Judice Inn “Special Secret Sauce” for years. Gladys is survived by three daughters, Kathy Judice David and husband, Marc David, JoAnne Judice George and husband, Dave George and Sandra Judice Moore and husband, Steve Moore; four sons, Marc Judice and wife, Michelle Judice, Larry Judice and wife, Peggy Judice, Dr. Michael Judice and wife, Maureen Judice and Gerald Judice and wife, Lynda Judice; fourteen grandchildren, Chad Judice (Ashley), Renee Judice Casbon (Matt), Sarah David, Erin David, Clayton George (Kasey), Kyle George (fiancee, Taylor Deshotel), Crystal George Meaux (Brady), Adam Judice (Kate), Trevor Judice (Emily), Katy Judice (fiance, Dr. Blair Budden), Jordan Moore, Zachary Judice (Lauren), Charlene Judice and Abbie Judice; fourteen great grandchildren, Ephriam Judice, Eli Judice, Ezra Judice, Cate Casbon, Caroline Casbon, Andre Casbon, Henry Judice, Camden Judice, Jack George, James George, Joseph George, Madison Meaux, Bryce Meaux and Spencer Judice.
