I graduated in three years with a B.S. in Business Administration. I was in Tri Sigma Sorority and a Red Jacket member.
Miss Hilda Erath was the best teacher I ever had and I remember her fondly to this day. She was instrumental in my getting a job at Davidson and Meaux Attorneys and I worked there until my marriage in 1954.
My husband, Malcolm Bienvenu, completed his education at S.L.I. on the G.I. Bill. He worked for General Electric Company in California, Colorado Springs, Houston, and in the Dew Line in Alaska. He was transferred to New York and we have been “yankees” for 48 years. He retired in 1990.
All six of our children have graduated from college and only my youngest son is still single and living in California.
My youngest sister still lives in Lafayette and we visit her and cousins once a year.
We hope to go to the Alumni Center on our next visit.
