Carencro High takes first place in technology competition

Carencro High School was named the champion of the eighth Louisiana High School Online Technology Challenge.
The competition is hosted by the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
In the competition, student teams take part in several online-based activities, including designing posters, creating spreadsheets, describing websites, describing data visually and more.
The Carencro High team was coached by Donna Denny. Team members were Blake Benoit, Josh Burke, Michael Green, Jamal Toussaint, Justin Massa, Evan Hurth, Trent Devillier, Laci Bruno, Cole Delaney, Tyton Charles, Nick Theriot, Delman Tibbetts, Gage Mayers, Riley Viator and Dustin Wiltztech.
St. Thomas More Catholic High School in Lafayette placed third in the competition.
