In the last game my senior year, I tore the AC joint in the GSC championship game against McNeese State University.

I had surgery the next week (Thanksgiving Week) where two steel pins were placed in my right shoulder.

Everyone had gone home for Thanksgiving, but guess who was there when I came out of surgery? – Coach Blanco.
