Home Phone: -- Daniel Tribe, Jr. Obituary for Daniel Tribe, Jr. Interment will be in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery. Pastor Andy Tribe, his son, will conduct the funeral services. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Carolyn Ellzey Tribe; his children, Andy Tribe and wife Mona, Bridget Bundy and husband Scott, Phyllis Gary and husband Robert, Donald Fowler and wife DeeDee, Rebecca Champagne, and Lisa Boudreaux and husband Keel; his brother, Gerald Tribe and wife Linda; 16 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Anna Louise Tribe; his parents, Daniel Tribe, Sr., and the former, Beulah Marie Romero; his sister, Gail Tribe Morrell; and a granddaughter, Natalie Bundy. A lifelong resident of Lafayette, Daniel had retired from ULL after 34 years of dedicated service having worked in the Print Services Dept. He enjoyed rebuilding antique and classic cars, and was a member of the Evangeline Chapter of the AACA. Some of his joys included, fishing, camping and woodworking. Daniel was skilled in repairing just about anything and was considered a jack of all trades. But most of all, he will best be remembered for his love of his family and the special love he shared with his wife, witnessed by many during his last days. He will be deeply missed. The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille’s SOUTHSIDE location on Friday from 10:00 AM until time of service.
