Home Phone: 225-638-2968 What a great experience! In 1981, as a sophmore, I was part of the team that set a record with 40 wins. I was a pitcher on the team. I had a record of 5 wins and 1 loss that year with a 2.30 ERA. I made the team as a walk-on. If I remember correctly there were around 140 young men competing to make the team my sophmore year (1981), the year Mel Didier became head coach. I made some great friendships, and periodically go back to the alumni weekend to see some of the guys I played with.
