Home Phone: 225-673-2876 Dalton W. Boyd Attended Junior College in Monroe, Louisiana, after graduation from high school in Clarks, Louisiana. Served in the armed forces during World War II. Upon discharge from the service, he entered Southwestern Louisiana Institute and was a pitcher for the SLI baseball team during his years at this school.(1946 – 1950) He also was a member of the Evangeline League. After earning a degree in education, he spent many years in the field of education as a teacher. During this time he was able to earn his masters degree in education as well as 30+ hours.
