HOUSTON- Louisianaï¿½s Raginï¿½ Cajuns menï¿½s and womenï¿½s track and field teams
completed day one of the two-day Houston Invitational meet.

Freshman Constance Robinson had a stellar performance finishing second in
the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:00.85.

The UL women finished 9th in the distance medley with a time of 13:05.34.

Tramaine Cosey was the top finisher for the men with a 7th place finish in
the 400-meter dash with a time of 51.97 seconds. Herman Clark and Quenton
Jones also competed in the 400-meter dash. Clarke finished 9th with a time
of 52.10 seconds while Jones finished 15th with a time of 53.04 seconds.

The UL men also competed in the distance medley and finished 13th with a
time of 10:45.00.

The final event for the Houston Invitational is scheduled for Saturday,
Feb.3 at 5:00 p.m.
