Graduated from USL with Bachelor’s in 1984 (Arts and Humanities/General Studies)and 1986 (Health and Physical Education).

Graduated in 1993 from Southern University Baton Rouge with Masters Degree in Secondary Education.

Collegiate honors includes All-Southland Conference; Member of S-Club, Rebounding and Scoring honors at USL; All-American and National Player of the Week, All-Region (1981-82 at Livingston University)

Married to Rodney Lockett, three children: Jordan (10) and twins, Brandon and Bradley (3). Older son, Racoya Reed(23).

Teaching Experience:
17 years in Health and Physical Education (9 years in Baton Rouge, LA and 8 years in Richardson, Texas.

Coaching Experience: Basketball (5 years Varsity and 3 years Junior Varsity) Track (2 years).

Named 2003-2004 Coach-of-the-Year for District 12 4-A in Texas.
