Born: November 15, 1925
Died: October 27, 2010

Barbra Brunson Wright died Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at Oakwold Plantation in Evergreen, her home for the last fifty-six years.
Mrs. Wright was a native of Bunkie and enjoyed twenty-nine years of teaching at Evergreen High and Elementary Schools. As a member of Bayou Rouge Baptist Church, she served as Music Director. She was co-author with her husband of forty-eight years, Porter Bagley Wright, of “The Old Evergreen Burying Ground”, a narrative and index of the cemetery where her cremains will be interred. A graveside gathering will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Bayou Rouge Baptist Cemetery in Evergreen. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Bayou Rouge Baptist Cemetery, P.O. Box 237, Evergreen, LA 71333.
