Women’s Tennis:Vallejos Claims 50th Win as Louisiana Beats Southern, 7-0Vallejos Claims 50th Win as Louisiana Beats Southern, 7-0LAFAYETTE – The Louisiana Women’s Tennis team beat Southern 7-0 on Saturday morning, helping head coach Stephanie Vallejos claim her 50th career win at the helm of the program.Vallejos joins Dan Holden (60) and Meg Scopes (53) as the three coaches in team history to reach the 50 win mark. It was all Louisiana on Saturday as the team completed every match and won every set pretty handily. Dana Radovanovic shutout Nandi Munyulwa, 6-0, 6-0, while Clara Mantaux and Lucie Raquin picked up 6-0, 6-1 singles wins. It was the same story in doubles, with Floriane Picaut and Raquin sweeping Kourtni Stewart and Takalani Molaoa, 6-0, and Mantaux and Isabella Kierkegaard winning, 6-1, in their first match at No. 1 doubles. Louisiana will be back in action on Wednesday, Feb. 5, at home against Southeastern Louisiana with the match starting at 5 p.m. Final Results Doubles
