Obituary: Tony James Primeaux Football 1974 & 75July 27, 1955 – September 20, 2024 The Rev. Kenneth Domingue, pastor of St. John Berchmans Catholic Church, will officiate at the services Mr. Primeaux was a native of Crowley and a resident of Carencro. Tony was a natural athlete having played football at USL (currently the University of Louisiana at Lafayette) and continued his love for the game as an avid fan of his alma mater ULL and New Orleans Saints. Tony had a lot of favorites; concession stand Dr. Pepper with sno cone ice, fishing, and watching rodeos but nothing tops the love he had for his family. Watching his children and grandchildren grow and thrive brought him immense joy. His love and laughter will be terribly missed however, his memory will remain in their hearts, forevermore. Survivors include one son, Jeremy Primeaux; two daughters, Amy Boudreaux and Lindsay Domingue; seven grandchildren, Abigail Boudreaux, Paxton Primeaux, Grayson Primeaux, Lucy Primeaux, Blithe Domingue, Maverick Domingue, and Nixon Domingue; one brother, Gerard Primeaux; and three sisters, Sandra LaHaye, Polly Navarre, and Kathleen Meche. He was preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Tester Primeaux; and one sister, Judy Armand. A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 4:00 p.m. Tuesday and will extend after the service time until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday. The family would like to extend their deepest appreciation to Hope Healthcare and Hospice for their excellent care and compassion, especially Melanie LeBlanc, Hali Marshall, Bobbie Davidson, and Brandy Skidmore.
