He was preceded in death by his first best friend and maternal grandfather, Judson A. Voorhies A dedicated student, Tiger attended Ascension Episcopal and graduated from Cathedral Carmel Elementary School and then St. Thomas More High School in 2015. He then completed a postgraduate year at The Loomis-Chaffee School in Windsor, Connecticut. Tiger’s academic journey continued at Princeton University, where he graduated in 2021. He was a starting wide receiver and punt return specialist as a member of the Princeton football team where he received numerous All-Ivy honors. Tiger next moved to New York City, where he entered the cybersecurity industry. His professional journey continued to flourish when, in early 2024, he began his dream job in finance as an analyst at the Wall Street Firm, Seaport Global Holdings, LLC in Manhattan. His impressive work ethic and sharp mind led to a swift promotion to Junior Bond Trader by the summer of 2024. Tiger Bech was and still is larger than life. He was fierce and he was the most loyal friend. His passion –for playing football and experiencing the world – impacted so many. His play on the football field inspired others to play with the same fearlessness that he possessed. Tiger had a gregarious laugh, and he loved hard. The last week of Tiger’s life was spent doing his favorite things on this earth. He was in Louisiana eating more gumbo and Cajun food than one could imagine. He glowed with joy while duck hunting, laughing and fishing with his best friend in the entire world, Ryan. He enjoyed the most magical Christmas spending time with his family and friends. He had a belly and a heart full on his way to heaven. He lived large and he died much too young. He crammed 80 years of living into 27. This year he ran with the bulls in Pamplona, he saw the great pyramids of Egypt, traveled to Morrocco and Ibiza, lived in and loved New York City. Tiger cherished the intellectual thrill of his job and felt deep gratitude for the people he worked with and who mentored him into the world of trading. Most importantly, Tiger spent all his extra resources flying almost every weekend to Fort Worth, Texas to see his best friend and brother, Jack, do what they grew up loving together so much – playing FOOTBALL! We had more time with our family this year than we all could have ever imagined. If you learn anything from Tiger let it be this: Book the flight, take the trip and love fiercely! After all, his name suited him well. Pallbearers are Jack Bech, Ryan Quigley, Jordan Carter, Lance Strother, Andrew Womble, Brett Bech, Blain Bech, Malchom Bech, Rocky Voorhies and Mike Richard. The list of people that walked with Tiger throughout his life is too numerous to list but he affected each one of them. He was appreciative of the guidance they provided. Together, they will all serve as honorary pallbearers to usher him home. Tiger lived by these words: And Ye who stay the path of righteousness shall reap what thine hath sewn.
