Obituary: Paul Fuehrer Football 1963 – April 10, 2021

Paul Fredrick Fuehrer 79 passed away peacefully at his home in Saline, Mi.
 April 10, 2021. 
Born in New York, Paul attended Carle Place HS Long Island, N.Y. graduating with
multiple offers for full football scholarships.  He played football for the U of
Nebraska, the U of Louisiana, and for the newly formed UFL in Quebec and
Toronto.

He graduated college at the U of M. and began his Physical Education teaching
career at Pioneer H. S.,  where he remained until his retirement after 40 yrs.
Paul also coached football and hockey. 

Paul treated everyone equally believing all have the ability to succeed.  Many
have said: He was a student’s teacher.  His sense of humor and unconventional
methods impacted many. Paul was a mentor for many of his students and has
remained lifelong friends with others.

After retiring, his passions were riding his Harley, Sport Clay shooting, golf, and
attending all his grandchildren’s sports activities.

He is survived by his three daughters:  Krista Moss (Duane), Monica Buzas, and Jessica Fuehrer. His 4 grandchildren:  Madison Moss, Blaize Buzas, Justice (Jay) Moss, Paige Fuehrer, and his great grandson Giovanni.  His sisters: Linda Grossane (Ron) and Carol Falbee (Ron).
