Men’s Tennis: Dworak, Keremedchiev Earn NCAA Doubles Bid

LAFAYETTE – Louisiana Men’s Tennis’ Kacper Dworak and Ivailo Keremedchiev have qualified for the NCAA Doubles Championship, which will be played on May 23-28 at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida. The doubles competition is being hosted by the University of Central Florida and the Greater Orlando Sports Commission.

Owning the No. 36 doubles ranking in the country according to the latest ITA rankings, Dworak and Keremedchiev received the automatic bid to represent the Sun Belt Conference. 
 
Dworak and Keremedchiev had a fantastic season, taking down three ranked opponents. Their best win was a 6-4 victory over No. 8 Elliot Spizzirri and Siem Woldeab of Texas on Jan. 15.

The doubles pair boast a 9-2 overall doubles record and own the best winning percentage (.818) among all doubles pairs in the Sun Belt, minimum of two matches played.
