Early February SIP Program Features Cajun Field in 1970Please click on www.athleticnetwork.net and note the new photo above the News. That photo was taken from the Athletic Network Photo Gallery of the 1970 Football folder. While Cajun Field was being finalized, the 1970 Football Team played the final season in McNaspy Stadium. McNaspy Stadium had served the athletic department from 1940 through 1970. The 1970 Football Team won the Gulf States Conference Championship that year and lost to Tennessee State 26-25 in the Grantland Rice Bowl. The many Football participants from 1940 to present have an album in the Football Photo Gallery. Click Photo Gallery > Football > year.
