Dr. Joseph Murry Track & Field 65-69, Weightlifting 65-68, Honors and New Book
Joe Murry has been a busy person of late. In June he was inducted into the Buffalo Weightlifting Hall of Fame. Wife Jane was with him for the induction ceremony in Buffalo.
The award was to acknowledge Dr. Joseph Murry’s tenure as Strength Coach with the Bills during the 1970s.
Please go to www.athleticnetwork.net and place Murry in the Last Name Box, click the red search button on the right of the Murry name, and you will be brought to the Murry page.
Scroll down and click on Joe’s name to view his most extensive profile. It should be required reading for athletes everywhere, especially our current UL athletes.
Joe’s profile contains information about his first book. Fortunately for us, Joe keeps on sharing his experiences with others.
Here are a few words from him. “Hey Sports Fans. Just published my book about my journey with the Buffalo Bills back in 70’s. It chronicles the rise to glory and the fall from Grace. It’s a good read. Go check it out. Here’s the link. The Buffalo Years: Lessons of Life and Leadership in the NFL https://a.co/d/3dxp1OH “
Back to Joe’s profile. His life is one of serving his fellow man in a variety of ways, all to their benefit. Appreciation well-earned Joe – from UL, Buffalo Bills, and schools in Louisiana.
Thank you for performing at the highest level in your sports and being such an outstanding role model on and off the field, and in the weight room.
Peace, Ed Dugas
