The preseason poll began in 1950 and is released each year with a panel of over 60 sports writers and broadcasters voting. The SEC dominates with Alabama on top, followed by Oklahoma (No. 2), Clemson (No. 3) and Ohio State (No. 4). Here is the full list, with first-place votes in parenthesis. 1.
