Women’s Tennis: Louisiana Beats Chicago State, 4-1, Split Illinois Road TripCHICAGO – After falling for the first time this season on Sunday, the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns Women’s Tennis team (9-1) avenged its loss to UIC by beating Chicago State, 4-1, on Tuesday afternoon. Louisiana opened by taking the doubles point to start the match. Mariona Perez Noguera and Clara Mantaux were the first to exit the court winning, 6-2, while Floriane Picaut and Dana Radovanovic claimed a 6-4 victory. Following doubles play, Louisiana earned quick singles victories from Marina Rodriguez Garcia and Radovanovic. Radovanovic won 6-3, 6-1 and Rodriguez Garica won 6-2, 6-1. Louisiana dropped its next singles match, but held a 3-1 advantage in the match. Mantaux sealed the win for the Ragin’ Cajuns beating Liz Morgoshia 7-5, 6-3.
