LAFAYETTE-Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajuns women’s tennis team captured two championships at their own Pepsi Challenge tennis tournament over the weekend.
Angela Dangond won the red draw singles bracket after defeating teammate Kim van der Horst 6-1, 7-5.
In doubles action, Dangond captured another championship with partner van der Horst. The pair topped Myrthe Molenveld and Julie Mazinova 8-6.
The two titles marked the first championships won by the UL women this fall.
The Pepsi Challenge concluded the fall season for the Cajuns.
