Women’s Basketball: Santiago leaves UL women’s hoops team

UL Ragin’ Cajuns women’s basketball head coach Garry Brodhead announced Monday that sophomore forward Byronesha Santiago will not return to the team.

Santiago, a junior college transfer from Ruston, La., saw action in eight games, last taking the court on Dec. 13 vs. New Orleans.

Coach Brodhead and the athletics department will have no further comment on the matter, according to UL assistant sports information director Matt Hebert.
