Volleyball: Hole Named SBC Setter Of The Week For Second Time This Season

NEW ORLEANS, La. – After directing the Ragin’ Cajuns to a pair of wins in three tries, senior setter Andrea Hole was named the Sun Belt Conference Setter of the Week for the second time this season on Monday in an announcement made by the league office.
 
Hole, who ranks fourth in the SBC with 10.07 assists per set for the season, averaged 10.08 assists per set in wins ULM and Troy and a four-set loss to league leader UALR.
 
It is the third career weekly honor for Hole in her career, who was also named the league’s Setter of the Week in November of 2013 and on September 29 of this season after a week that included wins over Georgia Southern and Appalachian State.
 
The native of Oslo, Norway, picked up a pair of double-doubles to take over the league lead with 14 on the season. She dished out 34 assists and had five digs in a sweep of ULM on Wednesday before picking up a double-double against UALR with 41 assists and 14 digs. Two days later she finished with 46 assists, 16 digs, five kills and three blocks in a five-set win over Troy.
 
Hole and the Ragin’ Cajuns have a full slate of matches upcoming, with three this week beginning Tuesday at Baylor. Louisiana will follow with road matches at Appalachian State and Georgia Southern on Friday and Sunday.
