United Blood Services UL Blood Drive Successful in Many Ways

The family and friends of Carolyn Broussard want to thank the faculty, staff, and students who took time from their busy schedule during the first week of classes to participate in the UBS Blood Drive to benefit Carolyn Broussard. Please know how much your donation of blood for Carolyn and others with such need is appreciated in a heart-felt manner.

From United Blood Services to UL Faculty, Staff, and Students:

On behalf of United Blood Services, and more than 50 area hospitals we service, we would like to express our appreciation for your efforts in reaching out to the community for the University of Louisiana at Lafayette blood drive that took place August 28-30, 2013. This particular blood drive was held in honor of long time university employee, Carolyn Broussard. With your help United Blood Services was able to reach the highest draw record we have had in 8 years. Your assistance is greatly appreciated by United Blood Services, but even more important to the patients in our local hospitals like Carolyn, whose lives you have helped to save. It has been a pleasure to work with you on this lifesaving event. Thank you again from the UBS Donor Recruitment department personnel and the local patients whom we serve.
