Tennis: Women’s Tennis Enters ITA Rankings at No. 64

LAFAYETTE-Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajuns women’s tennis team entered the
Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings at No. 64 on Monday. This marks
the third consecutive year that the UL women have been ranked.

The ranking is the highest-ever for the Cajuns.

Louisiana, currently 10-4 on the year, entered the 2007 season ranked No. 74.
The Cajuns ended the 2006 spring season ranked No. 73, marking the first
ranking in school history for the women’s team.

The Cajuns’ next match is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at Cajun Courts.
The team will host East Tennessee State at 11 a.m.
