LAFAYETTE – Alex Stewart‘s efforts in the No. 9-ranked Ragin’ Cajuns softball team’s Sun Belt Conference championship-clinching doubleheader sweep last weekend at Georgia Southern earned her this week’s Louisiana Sports Writers Association (LSWA) Softball Pitcher of the Week award.

It’s her third honor from the LSWA this season. She was named Pitcher of the Month for February and Pitcher of the Week on April 5.
