Softball: Orgeron’s triple finalizes USA’s softball win over Canada

Former UL All-American slugger Christi Orgeron made it a 9-1 run-rule win over Canada with a two-run triple to right field during their Title IX celebration contest in Oklahoma City, Okla.

Orgeron didn’t start the game, but entered it in her normal position of right field in the third inning and had two at-bats. After striking out in her first try, Orgeron worked deep into the count in her second attempt and lined the two-run triple to right to end the game in walk-off fashion.
