(Photo: SCOTT CLAUSE/USA TODAY Network) The National Fastpitch Coaches Association has created a memorial scholarship for UL volunteer assistant coach Geri Ann Glasco, who died earlier this year. According to NFCA’s website, the scholarship will be awarded to one female assistant coach in her first five years at the collegiate level, covering the cost for attending the National Convention in December, including registration fees, travel and rooming costs.
