FOLEY, Ala. – Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns senior forward Yazmin Montoya was named to the 2016 Sun Belt Women’s Soccer All-Conference First Team in a vote by the league’s head coaches and released by the conference office on Tuesday.

Montoya, who earned first-team All-SBC honors as a freshman in 2013, finished second overall for Louisiana (8-8-2, 4-4-2 SBC) in goals (5), assists (4) and points (14). Montoya helped Louisiana to a 3-2 win over eventual league champion South Alabama with a goal while adding an assist that helped the Ragin’ Cajuns earn a 2-2 tie against second-place finisher Coastal Carolina.

The three-year captain is the current Ragin’ Cajuns leader in points (67), goals (26) and assists (15).
