Soccer: Adorno Named CoSIDA Academic All-DistrictBridgette Adorno was named Academic All-District.

LAFAYETTE-Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajuns women’s soccer team member Bridgette Adorno (New Orleans, La.) was named to the 2007 District VI CoSIDA Academic All-District team as announced on Thursday, Nov. 1.
The College Sports Information Directors of America announced their annual Academic All-District teams and Adorno was named to the third team in District VI.
Adorno is the first UL women’s soccer player to be named Academic All-District since former Ragin’ Cajuns Kelli Good and Sherryl Owens were elected to the team in 2004.
Adorno, a biology major with an emphasis on pre-medicine, attended the NCAA National Leadership Conference at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. over the summer.
She has been a member of the Sun Belt Conference Commissioner’s List every year she has been at UL. Adorno currently has a cumulative grade point average of 3.78.
Currently, Adorno holds the school record for most matches played. She played in 75 matches in her career and started every match over the past three years. She has served as team captain as a junior and senior.
For her career, she has four goals and an assist for nine points. Adorno has one match-winning goal to her credit. ![]()
