When Gerald got out of coaching to work with yearbooks he had recruited a bunch of guys from the football team and Toby Warren’s  (Athletic Director) theme was the ROLL ON—So Ihe made a little record with Augie’s (Head Football Coach, Augie Tammariello) name and just thought about Roy Henry the QB, the big LINE MAN and probably the best team we have ever had –that was the idea for the lyrics—

Gerald has been playing R & R piano for ever–This reminds him kinda how it all came together in ’76—A girl helping at his house recorded the song on her phone and did the rest—Geaux Cajuns!!!
