Rock the Swamp, University’s Ring Celebration on Saturday, Nov.17, 10 pm – 1 am at Cypress LakeRock the Swamp
All students are invited to attend the university’s ring celebration on Saturday, November 17 from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. at Cypress Lake. The celebration will include a free concert and food and will begin after the Ragin’ Cajuns football game against Western Kentucky. Students can enjoy a live performance by Band Camp, who performed last year at Champions Square before the New Orleans Bowl. During the celebration, a special ring ceremony will also take place. Students who ordered a university ring will have their rings stored in a special container. University President Dr. E. Joseph Savoie will place the rings in the swamp where they will remain overnight, guarded by members of the UL ROTC. Submitted by Matthew Tarver
