Ragin’ Cajuns Reunions and Special Events Posted

During the Fall 2016 there were five reunions and special events. Two of these were held in late November, thus the delay in posting the photo galleries for each of these. Please email athleticnetwork@louisiana.edu if you have corrections or additions to make to any photos in the respective photo gallery of each event. These events represent teams and individuals in our rich athletic history from the early 1950s to annual reunions at Homecoming.
These events focused on honoring the following players, teams, and coach:
Louis Roth – Football 1951-55 – running back room dedication;
Beryl Shipley – USL Basketball Coach 1957-73 – Blackham reenactment of HOF induction at Homecoming;
Reunion of 1960s football players – annual events held at Homecoming each year;
Inaugural John Breaux Cajun Tennis Classic – will be an annual event of one of the top fall men’s tennis tournaments;
Reunion and Recognition of the 1966 National Weightlifting National Champions – what an nice tribute to outstanding former student-athletes, in and out of the weight room.
